About the Position Dexis is recruiting for an Administrative Assistant Consultant to support a U.S. Government Institution.
The Administrative Assistant Consultant will manage a wide variety of programs and support services to keep day-to-day operations running smoothly. This includes services such as procurement and contracting, physical security, emergency management, property management, records and administration, space renovation, supplies and office equipment management, transportation, mail distribution, and desktop publishing. The Administrative Assistant Consultant will be in contact with representatives of business (foreign and domestic), high level officials of countries with emerging economies, officials of other government agencies, and Embassy officials.
Work is primarily performed at the U.S. Agency's office in Washington, DC. Remote work may be permitted in accordance with the contract.
This position is contingent upon award. Responsibilities - Manage agendas by organizing and prioritizing the high incoming flow of work.
- Respond to and schedule requests for meetings.
- Book official appointments and meetings.
- Maintain a control and follow-up system to ensure timely response.
- Support with routine administrative and clerical duties such as filing, encoding, photocopying, binding, and similar tasks.
- Manage incoming and outgoing communications, including email, phone calls, and mail.
- Assist with travel coordination and travel voucher processing for the Strategy and Risk teams.
- Maintain records and databases, including tracking projects and deadlines.
- Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders as needed.
- Reply to email correspondence and phone calls within two business days.
- Conduct daily duties with courtesy and professionalism.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications - Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience providing administrative support in a federal environment or with another Development Finance Institution (DFI).
- University degree or its functional equivalent in administration, management, finance, office operations or other related fields.
- Functional command of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Detail-oriented, flexible, and sound professional.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Ability to take responsibility for multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and grammatical skills.
Preferred Qualifications - Familiarity with the use of PowerPoint.
