SupplyHouse.com, a rapidly growing e-commerce company in the plumbing, electrical, and HVAC space, is looking for an Assistant General Manager to join our Fulfillment Center in Dallas, TX! This individual will work alongside our General Manager to oversee and support our growing team and operations. Job Type: Full-Time, Exempt

Location: Farmers Branch, TX (177,000 sq. ft.)
\n
Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 (annually)
\n
Schedule: Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. CST
\n
Responsibilities:
\n
\n - Responsible for strategizing workforce planning with the Inbound and Outbound Manager and for determining how to distribute resources throughout each department
\n - Supports the Inbound Manager, Outbound Manager, and Local Operations Lead and is responsible for ensuring that they are able to successfully execute all projects and process improvements
\n - Sets parameters, develops goals, allocates resources, and establishes effective controls to achieve goals, standards, budgets, and KPI's
\n - Conducts monthly check-ins with the Inbound Manger, Outbound Manager, and Local Operations Lead in order to establish rapport, provide feedback, and ensure they are feeling positive about their departments, team leads, and processes
\n - Works with the General Manager to immediately address all personnel and performance related incidents that arise
\n - Supports and coaches the Inbound/Outbound Managers through employee incidents (as needed)
\n - Directly oversees the Inbound Manager, Outbound Manager, and Local Operations Leads in searching for improvement opportunities using Lean principles

Requirements:
\n
\n - Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of experience in a high-paced operational role including, but not limited to, warehouse, distribution center, fulfillment center, or supply chain management OR a High School Diploma/GED and at least 7 years of experience in a high-paced operational role including, but not limited to, warehouse, distribution center, fulfillment center, or supply chain management
\n - At least 2 years of experience directly managing people including hiring, developing, motivating, and directing people as they work
\n - Experience owning quality and efficiency KPI's and scheduling a large workforce
\n - Experience leading and facilitating cross-functional teams
\n - Experience building and maintaining cross-functional working relationships
\n - Experience managing cost performance and DC/FC execution
\n - Able to lead by example and maintain professional standards in the workplace
\n
\n
Preferred Qualifications:
\n
\n - Business degree in Logistics or Industrial/Engineering
\n - At least 2 years of experience working with automated systems (RF technology, WMS, Conveyor, and Sortation)
\n - At least 1 year of Lean experience in a Manufacturing or Logistics environment
\n - At least 2 years of experience planning, developing, and managing departmental expense and capital budgets
