As the Carrier Representative you will grow relationships and facilitate freight opportunities to licensed motor carriers to ensure delivery of capacity, problem solving, and outstanding logistics solutions to our customers. • Communicate with customers, potential customers, and licensed motor carriers.
• Build, develop, grow and maintain relationships with licensed motor carriers. 
• Plan and facilitate customer deliveries.
• Administrative duties which align with each assigned shift
• Proactively communicate with customers on potential service failures and create action plans to avoid issues in the future.
• Execute legging/street turn/empty repositioning functionality in Rail Optimizer
• Manage equipment, including chassis and containers.
• Maintain proper records and ensure information was executed correctly and on time.
• Shifts are subject to change at any time.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience. 
• Minimum of 6 months experience working with Port
• One year of experience in operations or dispatch environment
• Two years of logistics or transportation experience, specifically Drayage and Port 
• Strong analytical, communication, and time management skills
• Basic Microsoft Office skills
