Job Description

Job Title: Controller

Location: Seven Fields, PA (in-office position minimally 4 days per week)

Compensation Range: $125,000 - $150,000
Bonus: 10% bonus opportunity

Overview:

As a Controller, you will be responsible for supporting assigned healthcare portfolio companies with financial reporting, treasury management, and tax preparation. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial statements and providing timely information for strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end close, including cash reconciliations, recording journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
  • Prepare accurate location-level and provider-level fully allocated financial statements.
  • Perform monthly financial statement reviews and analysis of the company’s operating results, including additional ad-hoc analysis as necessary.
  • Assist accounts payable department with reviewing invoices and coding verifications.
  • Prepare financial information to support leadership and board meetings.
  • Accurately calculate and communicate provider productivity compensation plans.
  • Provide management with accurate and timely information for strategic and operational decisions.
  • Evaluate policies and procedures, proactively identifying areas for improvement to strengthen the internal control environment and streamline processes without jeopardizing financial statement integrity.
  • Assist with treasury management functions, including managing working capital and improving available cash on hand.
  • Oversee tax return preparation with external tax firms.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Financial leadership experience in a multi-site/location healthcare services organization (6+ years).
  • Proficiency in Excel (4+ years).
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) (4+ years).
  • Valid Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Preferred:

  • Strong fit for this role through demonstrated experience in financial leadership within a multi-location healthcare services organization.
