We are seeking a skilled and proactive Workday HRIS Analyst to join our team.

This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation and optimization of our Workday system. The ideal candidate will be adept at troubleshooting, configuring Workday modules, and providing exceptional support to end-users. You will play a key role in system upgrades, enhancements, and the implementation of new features while aligning technical solutions with business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Production Support:
    • Provide comprehensive production support, including triaging tickets and troubleshooting system issues.
    • Offer end-user support, addressing queries and issues promptly.
    • Research alternative solutions and features to resolve issues effectively.
    • Manage and deliver on enhancement requests to improve system functionality.
  • Configuration & Maintenance:
    • Configure and maintain various Workday modules, including Absence, Advanced Compensation, Core HCM, Performance, and Time Tracking.
    • Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and implementations, ensuring a seamless transition and minimal disruption to business processes.
  • System Upgrades & Releases:
    • Stay informed about future Workday functionality releases and ensure their successful implementation.
    • Support bi-annual Workday releases by participating in testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for mandatory and opt-in features.
  • Requirements Gathering & Configuration:
    • Translate business needs into technical requirements and configure Workday solutions to align with organizational objectives.
    • Identify and implement process improvements and system optimizations to enhance functionality and efficiency.
  • Process Improvement & Training:
    • Provide recommendations for process improvements and streamline HR processes.
    • Offer training and support to HR staff on system use, best practices, and new features.
    • Prepare end-user documentation and training materials as needed
What You'll Add to DigitalOcean:
  • Bachelor's degree with 2 - 5 years with Workday HCM
  • Knowledge in Benefits, Performance Management and Advanced Compensation modules is highly desirable; Experience with creating dashboards and custom reports a plus.
  • Proven experience working on Phase X system implementations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with all levels of the organization
  • Excellent writing skills for generating clear, concise release notes and documentation
  • Strong analytical capabilities coupled with business acumen needed to proactively solve problems facing the organization
  • Experience in requirements gathering, fit gap analysis, design, test case creation preferably in Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
  • Must be detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy and have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be a self-starter, able to work independently with a proactive working style
  • Ability to manage change effectively always mindful of technology, business processes, and systems implications
  • Ability to identify and tackle problems proactively, research and present multiple solutions to problems.

  • We reward our employees. The salary range for this position is between $75,000 to $93,000 based on market data, relevant years of experience, and skills. You may qualify for a bonus in addition to base salary; bonus amounts are determined based on company and individual performance.
