Job Description Maintains, installs, tests and repairs all devices associated with I&E (Instrumentation and Electrical) field operations s processes and equipment. Support Pioneer field operations throughout the Permian by ensuring that Pioneer’s Safely 8760 and Stewardship 365 objectives are met and driven consistently at the field level. Expected to exemplify and enforce HSE policies. Be accountable for tasks being performed on locations to ensure safe work. Once employed, a skill matrix coinciding with this description will be assigned that further defines the job duties for progression/promotion purposes. Expected to exemplify and enforce HSE policies. Major Responsibilities:Learns to calibrate, program, maintain and repair I&E equipment at wells and facilities.Calibrates, programs, maintains and repairs I&E equipment at wells and facilities.Learns to troubleshoot malfunctions and repairs control devices and communication equipment.Trains and learns to operate Pioneer SCADA systems.Trains to evaluate new facilities for I&E technology application.With assistance while in training, responds to requests from I&E Supervisor to achieve maximum efficiency of all I&E systems.Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor, to include special projects.
Minimum Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent certification required.
• Knowledge and understanding of basic electrical systems. Technical certification preferred
• 1.5 years’ experience as a Water Measurement Tech I preferred or equivalent I&E experience. Ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills required of the position.
• A current valid vehicle operator’s license with an insurable driving record is required
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.• Good verbal and written skills.
• Duties require close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
