Coach USA has new and exciting career opportunities for Mechanics at our Sacramento, CA location. We are looking for a mechanic to repair and inspect company equipment in a cost effective, safe, timely manner.

Responsibilities:

• Routine and preventative maintenance
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and other breakdowns or failures
• Complete A, B, SPAB services and annual inspections on vehicles.
• Adjust, repair, replace and/or service lights and other electronic/electrical parts as needed. and/or service brakes as needed.
• Adjust, repair, replace and/or service any system or part on vehicle as needed.
• AC system service as needed.
• Change and replace tires and wheels.
• Maintain a clean shop and work area.
• Complete all paperwork required for jobs.
• Flexible work schedule which may include weekends and nights.
• Other duties as directed by Vehicle Maintenance Manager or other member of management 

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Valid driver's license (CDL preferred), clean driving record
• Be able to work in all types of weather conditions, including outdoors
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
• Must have own tools
• Two (2) to six (6) years of experience in light and heavy-duty maintenance repairs of trucks and buses.
• Must have formal classes and/or certificates for maintenance and/or repair.
• Must have working knowledge of hand and mechanical tools.
• Must have reliable transportation and working phone
