Operations Manager - IT Consulting Firm (Federal Contracting)

Location: Atlanta, GA

Job Summary: The Operations Manager at JR Software Solutions is responsible for managing and coordinating the daily operations of our IT consulting firm, specializing in Federal contracting. This role emphasizes collaboration with the recruiting team, overseeing client resource onboarding and offboarding, managing performance tracking, and handling day-to-day administrative tasks. The Operations Manager ensures that all operational processes align with company goals and Federal contracting requirements, facilitating seamless business execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Coordination with Recruiting Team:
  • Work closely with the recruiting team to align hiring strategies with project needs and Federal contract requirements.
  • Prepare offer letters and introduce company and client expectations, including dos and don'ts.

Client Resource Onboarding and Offboarding:

  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of client resource onboarding by collecting and reviewing necessary documents and managing the offboarding process, including communicating and coordinating the return of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE).
  • Coordinate badge and NCAMS renewals between Prime, client onboarding teams, and resources.

Performance Management:

  • Track and assess the performance of client resources, ensuring alignment with project goals and client expectations.
  • Collaborate with HR and the recruiting team to address performance issues and implement improvements to processes.

Day-to-Day Administration:

  • Manage daily administrative tasks, including scheduling, communications, and documentation.
  • Ensure all operational processes comply with Federal contracting requirements and company policies.
  • Monitor and optimize the use of office resources, including technology and facilities, to support efficient operations.

Operational Process Improvement:

  • Implement and regularly update process improvements, policies, and procedures to enhance operational efficiency, support company growth, and ensure alignment with company goals and Federal regulations.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Facilitate regular meetings and serve as a liaison between executives and different departments, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure all team members are informed and aligned with operational goals and expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations management, preferably within an IT consulting firm or Federal contracting environment.
    • Experience in resource management, recruiting coordination, and performance tracking.
  • Skills:
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
    • Proficiency in using office software, HR and recruiting systems, and project management tools.
    • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on compliance and process improvement.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing needs.

  • Standard work hours are 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM EST, with some flexibility for remote work.
