**Novak Industries Inc. is looking to hire a Personal Vehicle Delivery FedEx Ground Driver.**
Novak Industries is a contracted service provider for FedEx Ground. We deliver and pick up thousands of FedEx ground packages in the City of Rochester and Brighton every day. Our company is quickly growing and changing to keep up with the growing demands of the eCommerce markets.
***Frequently Asked Questions:***
The following vehicles can be used: sedans, station wagon, SUV, minivan and pick up trucks (they must be covered and secured) Cargo vans are not considered personal type vehicles, no shuttles, busses, etc. . The vehicle must be no older than 15 years, must operate in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. No heavy modifications, bumper stickers, etc.
* You must be at least 21 years old to be a Personal Delivery Driver, with a valid driver's license, and have one year of fully licensed driving.
* Following your application, you will be subject to a motor vehicle record check and criminal background check.
* You must also be able to provide proof of insurance, registration, and valid inspection.
* You would be contacted by a delivery driver, and meet with them en route.
* You would take a number of their stops and go deliver them.
* This position is independently run, so the number of hours you put in would be somewhat at your own discretion.
You would meet on the road with the driver. We deliver in the City of Rochester, Irondequoit, and Brighton.
You will be paid $20/hour and $.58/mile. Mileage and hours will be tracked through the scanner you will use to deliver packages. The hours you work will be based on the needs of the number of steps you take from the driver. The drivers are on the road anywhere from 8 am-6 pm, so you can expect to work during those hours. (Hours can change based on the number of stops, weather, etc.)
You will accompany a driver for a few days to a week to learn the scanners and how to properly deliver per FedEx standards.
