This role involves implementing real-time algorithms that bring complex mechanisms to life, with a strong emphasis on hands-on work with physical systems. You’ll be instrumental in driving performance and precision in challenging interaction scenarios, working across software and hardware boundaries to ensure smooth, intelligent behavior. Key Responsibilities Build and optimize control software for robotic mechanisms in dynamic, feedback-driven environments Implement techniques suited for physical interaction and force-sensitive tasks Support the integration of sensing systems into responsive, real-time control loops Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to align control performance with overall system goals Contribute to broader control and software infrastructure for scalable deployment What We're Looking For Experience implementing real-time control systems on electromechanical hardware Strong understanding of feedback control strategies and applied system dynamics Proficiency in modern software tools and languages used in robotics Comfort working across simulation environments and real-world testbeds Familiarity with various sensing modalities and actuator technologies Prior work on manipulation systems or related domains is a plus This role is ideal for someone who’s excited to move beyond simulations and bring complex systems into the physical world.
