Company: A thirty-year-old privately owned commercial construction firm that specializes in commercial
cabinets, equipment rentals, maintenance, remodeling, restoration, and roofing. The Company is growing and
expanding its team to service more clients.

Corporate Office Location: Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Project Locations: Miami, FL & Fort Lauderdale, FL

Status: Full-time employee

Relevant Work Experience: Minimum of 7 years' experience in commercial roofing - specific experience
with flat roofs and TPO, PVC, BUR, torch applied systems, and roof coatings.

Education Level: High School Diploma Preferred

Compensation: $30-$35/hour

Responsibilities: The company is searching for a Roofing Service Mechanic/Foreman with the ability to
perform commercial roofing repair projects including, but not limited to TPO, PVC, BUR, torch applied
systems, and roof coatings across South Florida. Responsible for locating leaks and performing quality roof
repairs in a safe and timely manner, while treating customers with courtesy and respect. Job duties also include
the ability to manage crews and subcontractors on the completion of new roof projects with defined scopes as
well as larger repair projects. Must have knowledge of all roof systems and specific knowledge of flat roof
systems.

Must have the ability to:
1. Respond to roof repairs in a timely manner.
2. Complete roof repairs properly with minimal supervision and training.
3. Muti-task and complete multiple projects as efficiently as possible.
4. Effectively communicate progress in the field to the Roofing Superintendent or Project Manager.
5. Assess roof problems and determine repairs necessary to solve that problem.
6. Estimate smaller repairs up to $5,000.00.
7. Gather all information needed for larger roofing projects and deliver to Project Manager for estimate.
8. Able to manage new roof crews or subcontractors as necessary.
9. Able to communicate with customer contacts in the field.
10. Ability to work with all major roof systems, whether pitched or low slope.
11. On call 24 hours a day 7 days a week unless prior notice is given.

Knowledge, Experience & Skills Required:
*Knowledge of the various commercial roofing systems
*Ability to multi-task and work under deadlines
*Excellent ability to complete required work in proper manner

*Reliable and punctual
*Very strong technical roofing skills
*OSHA training preferred
*Must have reliable transportation and own hand tools Volarify
