Salary: $150,000 - $225,000 per year
A bit about us: Hello! We are a leading Tax Consulting firm specializing in providing comprehensive tax solutions to a diverse clientele. With a commitment to excellence and innovation, we assist High Net Worth Individuals (HNWIs), 1099 contractors, S-Corporations, partnerships, and trusts in optimizing their tax strategies. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Tax Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional tax consulting services to our clients.

Currently, we are turning down and referring out what would be good business because we are not going to throw it on our staff's lap as extra work, we are going to make an additional key hire to manage this business and a small team. We are flexible and many staff members work from home some days, it is just about executing and getting the job done but hopefully a good/fair expectation would be once a new hire is properly situated, in a management role it is up to them how they manage their team but 3 days in the office 2 days working from home with flexibility is probably a safe expectation to set. We are pretty chill about it!
Job Details Responsibilities:
Manage and lead a team of tax professionals in delivering high-quality tax consulting services to clients, including HNWIs, 1099 contractors, S-Corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
Provide expert guidance and strategic tax planning to clients, addressing their unique tax situations and objectives.
Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with current tax laws.
Stay current with changes in tax laws, regulations, and industry trends, and proactively apply this knowledge to client engagements. Engaging as the lead liaison with clients and managing existing relationships and developing new ones.
Conduct in-depth research and analysis on complex tax issues, providing well-founded recommendations to clients.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and exceptional service delivery.
Mentor and train junior team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
Participate in business development activities, including proposal writing and presentations, to acquire new clients and expand services to existing clients.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree and CPA preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in tax consulting, with a focus on serving HNWIs, 1099 contractors, S-Corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Proven experience in managing and leading a team of tax professionals.
