General Function:

Plan, implement, facilitate, and supervise activities and events in the area of Sports, Fitness & Recreation. Research, test and model a variety of innovative, exciting new programs in the assigned core program area that meet the diverse needs of members, community, and parents. Interface with volunteers assigned to specific programs to ensure proper application. Promote safety of members, quality of programs, and appearance of the Club at all times.

• Ability to deal effectively with staff, youth, parents, local community leaders, schools and churches
• Demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge about youth development.

• Plan, implement, facilitate, supervise, and evaluate all sporting programs, activities, and events.
• Understand the Clubs’ philosophy, vision, and goals.

• Develop special events and activities for core program area.

• Plan and implement quality programs for youth.
• Provide guidance and role modeling to members.
• Plan and implement sports tournaments.
• Plan sports clinics and sports-related field trips.
• Promote safety of members, quality programs, and appearance of the Club at all times.
• Ensure volunteers are trained to appropriately facilitate league programs, special events, and activities in a manner that meets organizational objectives.
• Keep records of participants, schedules and attendance

Program Aide – Sports & Fitness

• Mandatory First Aid/CPR.
• May be required to transport Club members.
• Recruit Club members for sporting leagues.
• Other duties as assigned by Program Director.

The consistent offering of a variety of interactive sports and fitness programs activities and services that meet the ever-evolving interest and needs of youth, their parents, and community. The community and parents are well informed about the Clubs’ programs, activities, and services.
