Gardner Health Services is currently recruiting to fill a Training Coordinator position. This is a full-time position based in the Human Resources Department located in Downtown San Jose, California. The Training Coordinator will join a dynamic healthcare team and focus on developing, implementing and maintaining a centralized training program with an emphasis on enhancing customer service. The position requires passion about training and development, with a keen understanding of healthcare operations and customer service principles. This role is crucial in ensuring our staff delivers compassionate, efficient, and knowledgeable care to our patients.

Minimum Qualifications:

The minimum qualifications of this position is listed below. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered,

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Education, or a related field, required (or equivalent experience as determined by the company).
  • Certification such as Certified Professional in Training Management (CPTM) in training and development is a plus.
  • Proven experience in training coordination, preferably within the healthcare sector, with a focus on customer service.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare operations, including compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse groups of learners.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and respect diverse cultural perspectives and backgrounds to design inclusive training programs.
  • Familiarity with e-learning tools, virtual training platforms, and digital training resources to enhance learning experiences.
  • Experience in facilitating change within an organization through training initiatives and adapting programs to meet evolving needs.
  • Proficiency in developing training materials and using learning management systems (LMS).
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with strong project management skills to oversee multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
  • Passionate about community healthcare and behavioral health services.
  • Dedicated to improving patient outcomes through high quality services and exceptional customer service.

Compensation:

Compensation and level of position placement will be determined based on relevant experience and education.

Training Coordinator: $60,000 - $80,000/Annually
