BridgePhase is seeking UI/UX Designers (Mid and Senior) to join our team supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The ideal candidate will be an expert in user experience design, capable of conducting thorough research to inform design decisions, and adept at working within government agency frameworks. This role requires a strategic thinker who can collaborate effectively with various teams to create accessible, user-friendly interfaces across multiple devices and connectivity environments. We value designers who demonstrate curiosity, adaptability, and a solid foundation in user-centered design principles. This is a remote position.

In this position, you can expect to:
  • Develop and implement user experience strategies aligned with DHS guidelines
  • Conduct comprehensive user research using diverse qualitative and quantitative methods
  • Analyze user behaviors, needs, and preferences to inform design decisions
  • Create intuitive, accessible interfaces for desktop, mobile, and tablet devices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine and improve user experiences
  • Present research findings and design recommendations to leadership
  • Ensure designs meet accessibility standards and perform well in various connectivity conditions

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated expertise in user experience (UX) design, preferably in government or consultancy settings
  • Strong knowledge of UX best practices and current industry trends
  • Proficiency in user research methodologies and data analysis
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to create responsive designs for multiple device types
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards and low-connectivity design considerations
  • Experience working in collaborative, multi-stakeholder environments
  • Knowledge of government agency design frameworks (DHS experience a plus)
  • US Citizenship is required due to Government contract requirements
  • Bachelors of Science or Arts is preferred.
