Job Title: Senior Welding Process Engineer

Summary:

We are seeking a Welding Process Engineer to develop and optimize welding processes, ensuring high-quality production standards. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in manual welding , with minimal exposure to robotics, and experience in the defense industry . This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, implementing best practices, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee welding procedures (PQRs & WPSs) to meet quality requirements.
• Ensure all welding standards and defense industry specifications are met.
• Support and troubleshoot welding operations, focusing on manual welding .
• Identify and recommend new welding technologies, equipment, and personnel needs.
• Develop and implement training programs for welding personnel.

Must-Have Requirements:

• Degree in Welding Engineering Technology (BSWET) .
• Experience working in the defense industry .
• Strong expertise in manual welding with limited exposure to robotic welding.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing welding.
• Strong knowledge of metallurgy and welding fundamentals.
• Ability to multitask, work independently, and collaborate across teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with excellent communication skills.

Work Details:

• Schedule: 8–10-hour shifts, Monday–Friday
• Location: On-site in Saginaw, MI (Relocation required)
